WHEN TO APPLY
SePRO Total Pond – Rescue® should be applied while weeds and algae are actively growing.
WHERE TO APPLY
This product is formulated for direct application to the water. Simply apply the appropriate amount of product evenly in the water, around the perimeter of the water body or over the targeted treatment area using a gloved hand, scoop or other granule application equipment to cast the pellets into the water. For best results, target coverage in areas where aquatic weeds and bottom dwelling algae are actively growing.
Water treated with this product may be used for fishing, swimming, and irrigation following
Do not treat more than 1/3 of the water body during a single application to avoid the potential for
depletion of oxygen due to decaying vegetation. Wait at least 14 days before continuing treatment of the remainder of the water body.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
- Ensure complete, uniform coverage of areas where target weeds or algae are growing.
- Apply on a calm day.
- This product requires a minimum 3 hours of contact time to achieve optimum results.
- Prevent disturbing the treated areas for 24 hours or as long as possible to maximize contact time.
AQUATIC WEEDS CONTROLLED
This product controls many submersed aquatic plant and bottom-dwelling algae species including hydrilla, Brazilian elodea (Egeria), naiad, coontail, elodea, horned pondweed, sago pondweed, floating-leaved pondweeds, watermilfoil and American eelgrass, (tapegrass), Charophytes (Chara spp., Nitella spp., and Nitellopsis spp.), and other submersed weed and algae that are sensitive to copper.
Empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
DANGER. Corrosive. Causes irreversible eye damage. May be fatal if swallowed. Harmful if inhaled. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear appropriate protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses). Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Avoid breathing dust. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.
